Designed to complement Phase 3 Magnetic letter tiles, these 40 flashcards introduce the same sequence of blends, trigraphs and quadgraphs, making them the perfect companion resource for home learning.

Aligned with the sounds and spelling patterns taught during Year 2, each flashcard focuses on a specific blend, trigraph or quadgraph. The target letter pattern is displayed prominently at the top of the card, followed by up to six carefully selected words that contain that sound or letter pattern. Each card is paired with two cute, child-friendly illustrations, helping children make meaningful connections between more complex sound patterns and familiar everyday objects while building vocabulary, decoding and spelling skills.

Some letter patterns have fewer suitable word options, so a small number of cards include a repeated word in the illustrations to ensure consistent practice across the set.
